Manual was very straighforward. There's plenty of power with this powering my 6.5" Polk Audi and 6x9 Inifinity marine speakers. This has yet to get too hot even after 4hrs in the 85 degree sun. I expect the best from clarion and they delivered. I thought I might have to install some ducting and a fan, but this amp runs very cool. It does put out some warmth but not enough to be an issue. The sound is good, but I'm not an expert on that. This amp does have great specs if you compare THD and SNR to other amps. My first complaint about this amp is it seems to be of lower quality than the Clarion DPX2251 amp. The plastic and metal seem cheaper. My second complaint is the size of the amp. I am very frustrated with thier level of service, they seem to be just washing their hands of this problem. It is now three weeks since my initial email. I'm sure the product itself will be good when I eventually receive it. |
